Overview

This two day training course is built around a practical surveying exercise and is designed to equip delegates with the skill and confidence to undertake surveys and so avoid unnecessary failure. Sound professional surveying is one of the foundation stones of good customer service. It is therefore essential that surveyors as well as sales and operational staff, are competent to undertake this vital task. This course forms part of our SIA Continuing Professional Development programmes.

Objectives

• Describe the need for the principle types of security surveys
• Conduct a risk assessment and identify risks to security
• Demonstrate their ability to conduct a client interview

• Interviewing the customer and their representatives
• Conducting a security survey
• The survey report - written and oral
• Developing Assignment instructions

Assessment & Certification

Assessment is made by means of a Course Risk Assessment Exercise.

Successful candidates will be awarded a CRW Certificate.
