Overview

This course includes theory on how oxygen therapy works, how to store and use oxygen safely and how oxygen therapy can be used in addition to CPR. Delegates will be shown how to recognise whether a casualty will benefit from oxygen therapy and will be taught the correct method to administer this therapy.

Course Content

The following topics are covered on the course: -

• Basic Life Support
• Nature and purpose of oxygen
• Use of oxygen & oxygen safety
• Causes & recognition of hypoxia
• Administration of oxygen
• Use of Laerdal Silicone bag/bag and mask protocols

Course Certification

All students will be issued a HSE recognised certificate in Oxygen Administration

Course Fees

The cost of this course is £90.00 + VAT per person for individuals and £650.00 + VAT for in-house training for up to 12 delegates.
